Happy New Year 2012!
Korean New Year’s day, commonly known as Seollal, is one of the most important of the traditional Korean holidays.
Tteokguk( 떡국, soup with sliced rice cakes) is one of the foods that Koreans are supposed to eat at least once or twice a year and New Year’s day is one of those days.
Eating a white-colored food on New Year’s day means that all the creatures are rejuvenated again in the New Year.
On Jan.1st.2012, miss Korea will be serving complimentary Tteokguk as the first gift of 2012!
Please come by and let’s celebrate New Year’s day with us!
