President Barack Obama’s favorite Korean food is said to be Bulgogi which he enjoyed it very much in Seoul, South Korea, where 2010 G-20 summit was held last week.
During the luncheon between South Korea President Lee Myung Bak and the U.S. President Barack Obama, Obama showed how comfortable he was with Korean chopsticks and repeatedly complimented on each served dishes as “delicious.”
When he mentioned the concern on weight gaining from various Asian delicacies he had been enjoying throughout the trip of summits in China, Japan and now in Korea, President Lee assured him that Korean dishes are LOW in calories and non-fattening.
FYI, here is what two leaders had.
Main Course:
Susam-haemul-gyeojachae (seafood and ginseng served in mustard sauce), Bulgogi, Barbecued beef, Bibimbap, Bukeo dufu tang (tofu soup)
Side dishes (Banchan):
Kimchi, Mulkimchi (water kimchi), Assorted Spinach, Tangpyungchae (seasoned herb with mung bean starch jelly), Jangjorim (beef brisket marinated and pickled in sweet soy sauce and ginger), Dashima-toegak (fried kelp)
For its unique and authentic flavor, Bulgogi was the most popular among international guests to keep requesting more.
At miss Korea, we serve our proud signature Bulgogi with top quality prime Angus beef marinated with our special home made sauce.
Taste it for yourself that the top leaders at summit thumbed up, here at miss Korea BBQ restaurant in New York City!
